For the next week, until about 20th, I will be busy. I mean very busy, don't expect tags and I may appear online but please don't start any conversations with me unless it's really important or I talk to you first.

I know this is very sudden, especially during the lategame, and it may sound like a selfish request, and I'm sorry for that.

To keep things short: my 3 month old PC is starting to have problems again. Because of the amount of issues I've gotten with this same rig since I bought it, I'm incredibly stressed out and require a break.

I think I need to call a hiatus. I haven't exactly lost the muse or anything, but it is shaky and I've just been having a hard time concentrating on the game due to a lot of RL stuff happening lately. Sorry about this. I'm not entirely sure when I'll be back. Maybe sort of a semi-hiatus since there's still that mission I signed up for, but yeah.

I should really have tried to call this earlier, but I didn't expect things to go balls up - Work had pretty much thrown me curve ball after curve ball with my times, especially this past week, so I'm saying that, until the upcoming ZZ/00 mission, I have been on, am on, and will be on hiatus. Effective tomorrow, I'll be going on my annual vacation to Florida for the Fourth of July.

I am almost 100% sure I'll have Internet access at the hotel we'll be staying at, but obviously, tagging won't be my priority; I'll be spending a lot of time with my family, so tags from me will be few and far between, if not non-existent. I'll try throwing up some posts later this evening, but don't be too surprised if I don't get to them until much later.

So I figured it was about time that I brought this up. I'm going to be on vacation starting next week until about August 25th. I'm not sure what my internet situation will be like but to be safe I'm going to call a hiatus for my two characters for the next two months.

So, a few days ago, one of my laptops died after finally reaching the end of its lifespan. That was also the same laptop that I started playing UG@ on nearly 2 years ago. RIP laptop.

Anyway, come tomorrow, I'll be trying to purchase parts to set up a new desktop as a replacement, because one of those should have a longer lifespan than any laptop. In addition, it'll take a few days to get the software I need back, since I lost a good chunk of it.

The haze over here is getting pretty bad too, and it's been driving me nuts. That being the case, I'll be tagging sparsely until some time next week. This is a slowatus, and has no effect on activity.

Only affects Neptune. Now she can sit around and be lazy for a bit.

I'm so sorry. I need to throw this up for my sanity. Being ABD on route to the PHD and I'm having serious doubts about my ability to finish. Gaining traction on the research is the first step, and at this point I'm overwhelmed by everything. Sorry. :(

On one hand, this is kinda minor considering how short it's presumably going to last, but on the other hand it's also REALLY important for these next few days.

On Wednesday, I'll be taking the State Civil Service exam for the chance to become a police dispatcher. If I nail this, my pay will more than triple compared to what I make now at CVS. It's also not a test you can study facts and information to prep for, you have to practice, practice, practice. I've done really well on the practice tests I've taken, but it's not as good as I could possibly get and I want to get this perfect so my chances are as good as possible.

To this end, I'm going to request nobody contact me unless I'm listed as "available" on AIM. I might tag around a bit though, but I'll leave my status as "available" while doing so.

Some of you know this already, but I figure I'll tell the rest-next week I leave for japan for a study abroad trip, and I'm not going to be back until August 13th-right as school starts up again. As such I'll be putting all my characters-Alice, Roads, Yui, and Charlotte on Hiatus for June, July, and August. I might check in from time to time but I've been told to expect no internet access.

Remember about four or five months ago, a newbie RPer who joined a mech RP with a flying game?

After months of library visits, three jobs, and many times of retrospect, I (Raptor) would ask to return to SRWUG@.

I am in the proses of setting up my return (I.E. Porting LJ stuff) So I will be a touch before I am ready for missions.

I played Mobius One (Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies) and I thank you for your time. All four or five months of it : )

Things happening. Putting some characters on Hiatus so I have an easier time with the month.

Ryou's going to go back to the Ark with Naiza. He'll return later on - once I figure out what the fuck to do with AC. If I can't come up with a reasonable plan I'll drop him altogether - despite the fact that I'd rather not.

Vlaska will also be on hiatus.

Luger I already mentioned before - He's with DC for the time being.

Patrick will be heading back to AEUG to do AEUG stuff. Probably see if he can ask Kati on that date too.

Cheng and Mad will remain active, as will Cora upon her introduction.

So. I know this is coming out of left field for at least a few of you. But... I'm realizing that I'm overextended in UG@, and I'm finding it harder to being myself to keep up with everyone. That said... I've got a few cuts to make.

Jukai and Will are going home. The former is realizing that while being on the Chalice is giving her chances to save bigger and more important things, it's just not the same as the place she left. So she's going to return to her hometown and protecting smaller targets. The latter... is starting to figure out that he's not strong enough to take on any of his siblings, let alone the most powerful of them, and so he's heading back to the Foundation's headquarters to train for a while longer under someone who knows what the hell he's doing: his father.

Chrono is going on plot hiatus. There's literally nothing for him to do, and it's not a stretch to assume that the rest of dimensional space is suffering because he's tied down to one place. He'll be back when we're ready to start the Gears of Destiny plot, but until then he's going away to be ye olde peacekeeping force.

I'm keeping Sora and Simon for the time being, but I'm thinking I won't pick up any more characters for a while. I'm just... burnt out, and I'd rather drop a few muses than drop the whole game at this point.

This has been a really long time coming. Pushing on four or five months.

But I need a break. There's a lot of stuff going on with me for a while now and I just want to be able to minimize my priorities, find a better job than just working at CVS with irregular, mission-inhibiting hours, and start to be able to take some pride in the things I like doing rather than just being godawfully mediocre at them.

This'll cover the entirety of March, most likely, though maybe not. It'll apply to running missions and other modwork, along with my characters. I'll still submit my app for Lynn though, you just won't be seeing her around for a little while longer.

If anyone needs me for ideas or discussing upcoming missions I'm cool with that. But that'll be all I really feel I'll have time for until I return.

I've been feeling extremely burnt out lately and I have a temp job coming up that will make me work long hours so I am going to go on hiatus for a while to try and recharge. I will play missions if one of my characters (specifically Momo for the finale) is required but that is it. This effects Fate, Momo, Tatsu, Emmy, and Letriel.

As most people would have noticed by now, my ability to tag/post is practically non-existent. I'll spare the dramatic details and summarize: I'm going through a tough phase again - things are beginning to pile up on me IRL, and it's really affecting my creativity.

I think that in situations like these, it's very important that I focus more on being myself than acting. Once I'm de-stressed enough to be able to RP my muses consistently again, I'll return; if I have to re-app a few characters by that time, so be it.

In the meantime, I can try to join some of my canon missions if the mods have any scheduled in the near future, just so we don't fall behind on things.

I'm going to put Tobia on hiatus, ~~and then drop him later. He's been fun to play, but 4 characters is simply a bit too much for me, and I wanted to drop him when his canon ends anyway~~. He went together with Kincaid to fight Jupiter Empire, and the rest of Crossbone plot will happen offscreen. I'll still post in his threads, but other than that consider him away. He's taking all three of his MSes with him.

However! If we end up running the one-shot Skullheart missions, and other mods don't mind, expect a certain someone to make sudden cameos!

~~The reason I'm not dropping him right now? There's one more event where I want him to participate. Spoiler alert: it's the next Tron Bonne mission. After that, I'll drop him.~~

My other characters are still around, though. Not gonna drop any of them in the near future!

EDIT: After some discussion, there's a high chance I won't drop Tobia. He's still off the ship and on hiatus until the next Crossbone mission, though. And still gonna return temporarily for the Tron one, if it's okay with the other mods.

A house burned down, down the street from us (myself and Lorelei)

Their misfortune spread to the rest of the neighborhood, as the fire damaged a gas line/main/switch. The City of Manor has shut off gas for, at least, our block, so we have no hot water, no stove, no heating. In Winter.

Hiatus for the both of us until we get heat back. We'll either be too cold to give F*cks or staying with someone else as to stay warm.

We might still be online, but, don't expect much in the RP sense...

Hey all, Herc here. Just letting everyone know that I'm taking the month of December off for a much needed hiatus. RL is starting to pile up on me, and I need to get ready for my part-time job when it starts up next month/year.

If you need Yoshika for the Romagna mission I can do that, but otherwise she'll be in the kitchen tending to everyone's culinary needs. Shinji will be doing his best to help Ren get better. See you in 2013.

Salsa here. This is the part where I do some actual work for myself and draw up an OC canon of my own. Not that, y'know, we need more OCs, but I don't watch enough mecha shows, and I control too many magical girls as it is. Oops.

Anyway! This is Will Rogers, hailing from Eternity's Call, which is an OC canon that elects to create powerful pseudo-psionics and give them mecha created by thought. (No, it's not Bliss Stage.) His psycho older sister basically declared war on all the Espers in the world, and Will's out to talk to her until she stops.

He'll be waiting on a mission to intro, but I thought I'd mention him... oh, and that there [are/will be] slots in the canon for other characters, either its own "canon" characters or OCs that draw from it. Nag me and/or check out his journal if interested.

EDIT: Oh, and I forgot! My dad's coming into town on the 15th and staying through Christmas. So I'm not going to be horribly attached to the game while he's here, I think. I'll likely still tag (somewhat), but in general I'm calling a hiatus for December, officially for the second half of December, starting the 15th and running through the end of the year. Hey guys, I know this is probably coming as a surprise to everyone, but I have decided to step down from moderator status for UG@. I really appreciate the time spent with everyone but I think it's about time that I did what was best for myself, and stepped down.

I'm still in the game, but for now I think it's time that I hung up my mod hat and let the others take over. They're doing a fine job with the game anyhow and I expect good things from everyone. Be sure to be good to one another, and remember my door's always open to talk.

Additionally to deal with my burnout, I am planning on being on hiatus for the rest of the month, as well as the month of December.

Well, time to face the music. I have no idea what I'm doing.
I have gotten use to posting from the playstation 3, and that's good.
The Libraries hours were cut, so I have no normal method to get aim at any hour any missions happen. And that's bad.
The worst is the fact that dream width crashed my playstation 3 web Browser. So I have no clue what to do. It could be the java script, a playstation 3 patch error, anything?!?
part of me thinks I should drop, until I get a normal means again, but that is undetermined.
This is frustrating to say the least. I want to see you all again, but if the powers that be say that I should be gone, then that's that.
If I stay, I thank you for your cooperation and sorry for inconveniencing you. If I leave, I want to say thank you all, even the people who did not like me. I learned a lot about writing characters.

So...I'll be gone from the 9th to the 12th (8th to the 11th CST) of November for Anime Festival Asia '12. That's quite a ways away, but unlike last year, the problem is that I might be going alone to Singapore this year.
