The mission Those Who Follow The Sun ended on a sad note, but was otherwise a victory.

Both of the canons for this mission (Ironlock Solid, And Though I Walk) are now finished.

Important Notes:
- Nicolai and his Id Beast army have been annihilated by the orb of light. That's one more god-like being White Chalice defeated.
- Han Zhi was killed by Cheng. All of Gucun turned away from him when it turned out it was him who activated the time bomb.
- Wang Ding Bang died in a suicide charge on Han Zhi. This saved the lives of many other Gucun soldiers.
- The State of Gucun is once again under the rule of the Kwans. It's safe for the time being, but what will happen in the future, only time will tell...
- Sophia broke free from Nicolai's control, but she stayed a vampire, and was destroyed by the orb of light like the rest of his creations. She died peacefully.

Damages:
- Rushbird is almost completely wrecked and it will take at least 2 weeks before it can be used again.
- Most other units on this mission suffered some degree of damage that should be repaired before the next sortie.

Those Who Follow The Sun

Wang Ding Bang informs us about Gucun loyalists who found secret data that might bring the tyranny of Han Zhi down! Unfortunately, the data is kept in a secret base on the edge of volcano... And to make it worse, Nicolai returns to the country, his darkness blotting out the sun! And his castle appears right next to the base!
To handle this matter, a two-front battle is needed: one to infilitrate the base, another to take down the vampire's minions!

Canon: And Though I Walk, Ironlock Solid (canon finale for both)
Characters: Roads Blackwell, Hua Cheng Kwan, Devon Kwan, any 5 combatants (both mecha and SS-sized will be needed)
Type: Planned.
Setting: Hidden volcano base + Nicolai's castle.

The mission Midnight was completed successfully, although with a few sour notes dampening things.

Important Notes:
- Bian Zoldark's sent word that his opening discussions with Britannian officials have gone remarkably well as a result of broadcasting Brtiannia's little fuckup at Area 11.
- So it turns out Roads has quite a few skeletons in his closet.  More new on that as it develops.
- The island the infection had spread across has been sunk, though said infection was purged completely from it just prior to that.  The Black Knights and the Japanese in Area 11 have sent the Chalice praise and thanks, with Zero himself commending us for what we did.  The Black Knights had apparantly worked to clean up the infection on several other islands as well, explaining why only a handful of soldiers had been at the one in question.
- The Burai pilot and the other survivors are suffering from acute PTSD but are otherwise fine.  Ayame and Maxene have consulted with several doctors in Area 11 about how to treat them.

Damages:
- The Zero Astray had its beam rifle and shield corroded by acid.  It'll take a four days to make replacements.
- Big O's arm is completely non-functioning on account of a lot of corrosion.  It'll take about a week to fix.
- Luger's Leo has had part of its left shoulder blown out.  It'll take three days to repair.
- Elena's Aries has suffered multiple piercing blows and is barely functioning. It'll need another ten days to be fully repaired.
- Memento Mori's lost one of its arms.  It'll take another five days to repair.
- Prometheus has suffered a few acid burns but it otherwise pretty much fine.  Give him a week and you'd never know what had happened to him.
- King Gainer crashed into a wall Loony Tunes style and was also crushed under a pile of rubble.  It's going to take about two weeks for it to be fully repaired.
- The Zweilicht has been bifurcated again.  It's also taken damage from a string of near-misses and is pretty much barely functioning right now.  It'll take two and a half weeks for it to be fully repaired.

The mission Midnight will be held tomorrow at 8 PM Central time.

[It's been a fairly quiet bit of faffing about in the Pacific, as has become sort of a thing for the Chalice in recent months.  But that changes when a transmission from Bian Zoldark comes streaming in, the man looking as stern as ever as he's looking down at some documents.]

Sir, we're on.

[He looks up, before sparing the papers one last look and then starting to speak.]

It's certainly been a while, hasn't it, Chalice?  And unfornately I wish I could be bearing good news, but I know you have your own problems and I wouldn't be bothering you under most circumstances, especially after all you did recently... but there is beginning to be a string of incidents.  Mainly in what's left of the civilized world although there's been a few close calls in some labs... and a few friends of mine in space have said similar incidents have happened there as well.

The details speak for themselves; a techno-organic "infection" that spreads through both men and machines.  If I'm not mistaken, you've had the unfortunate luck of encountering it twice already.  The sites it's sprung up at are mostly second-rate facilities... the kinds of places that would use salvaged metals in construction or take salvaged materials to in order to sell them.  It's the trading station all over again, on a much more immense scale.

And one of these places... happens to be an island in Area 11.  Naturally the Britannians gave into their more base instincts and turned and fled; with whoever the hell's in charge there saying that if the Japanese there were so dead-set on being independent, they ought to solve their own damn problems for once.

I'm only asking this of you because none of my own men are anywhere in the vicinity, and I'll put my faith in you before any other riff-raff mercenary group.  That and... I'd honestly like the leverage.  Between you and me, I've been gearing up for a discussion with a number of Britannia's finest about a number of... "things".  Catching them with their pants down would be nice; not that I won't give you the credit you deserve and compensation at one of my supply bases.

Okay, my schedule has changed and this weekend is no longer a viable time for running a mission for me. Blame my exams. Let's try this again - there is a possibility my schedule will change further, but you'll know if that happens. The biggest difference this time is that it might turn out I can't run this on Friday - but again, you will know if that turns out to be the case.

The mission Titanic Ambush was a success, albeit not without a price.

Important Notes:
- Though the colony drop was somewhat averted, the resulting shockwaves from the impact have devastated Anaheim's facility on the moon.  Between the loss of irreplaceable data, test models, and other critical equipment, it's estimated they won't be producing much of anything for the better part of this year.
- The digital recordings of the battle are rather screwy, due to the presence of the spiny Id Beast that wrecked havoc on cameras and the like.
- There's a new crater on the moon
- The repairs and refit for Gundam GP-01 were regrettably put on hold due to the colony drop, and currently Anaheim's facilities are such that repairs would be very difficult to do.  However, the Gundam and the necessary parts have been transferred to the White Chalice, where our own mechanics can finish the job.  The estimate is about three weeks.
- In the meantime, Anaheim has also supplied us with Gundam GP-00 Blossom, one of the few pieces of hardware not completely destroyed in the battle.

Damages:
- The Hyaku Shiki took a beam saber to the chest and also had its legs completely blown apart during the battle.  It'll take about three weeks to get the machine operational again.
- The Quebely's lost an arm and a leg, and its funnel pod has also been damaged.  The battle saw most of its funnels destroyed as well.  It's going to take another two and a half weeks to get repaired
- Azrad's severely damaged his body through using up most of his magical reserves.  He's a total wreck, but he insists he'll get better soon enough.
- Lily Rain's suffered some damage as well defending a thruster from the Psyco Gundam, but should be fine in another week.
- The new Zeta Gundam; probably the last thing Anaheim will be rolling out any time soon, took a bit of a beating but should be fine in another three-ish days.
- The Gundam Mk. III lost an arm and its shield, but should be okay in another week.
-The Blue Frame lost its head.  It'll be repaired in another day or two.

The mission Titanic Ambush is going to be held today in a little more than 14 and a half hours.
