As per the events in last night's mission, aka, seemingly epic trolling for those present, Joanne Royston, aka "Sleuth" has been killed before action.

And thus, after months of planning, she shall be dropped. With that I may... may (depending on laziness) pick up someone I once played before.

The mission Operation Shatter Mountain was a victory paid at a heavy cost.

The mission log can be read here.

Important Notes:
- Joanne "Sleuth" Royston was killed in action. She saw something the EF didn't want us to see.
- Sleuth's recording equipment was trashed by the Leapers. Time will tell if we manage to recover any image of what has she seen right before death.
- Post-battle analysis suggests that what we encountered was a weapons test for the Reformer-type creature.
- We recovered the meteor. It's mostly an empty shell, with traces of some weird, unknown tech inside that hint there was much more stuff in there. Was it used to create the Reformer and other EF monsters?
- Super Bismuth unlocked a new attack - the Super Bismuth Negaforce Buster.

Damages:
Joanne's armor was ripped apart. Other than that, no serious damages.

So, we as a mod team learned from several players that apparently KA makes something of a point and some characters might try to actually join them, and guess what?

We are really okay with that.

Especially since Petar made the invitation during the last Kairos Aspida mission, and is willing to hold up his end of the deal. So, players who want their characters to join KA, at least for a little while, post here. Comments are screened, if you want them to be visible to others then write "Unscreen" as the subject or something.

Things to consider:

-Joining Kairos Aspida is most likely not permanent. Events will conspire to force you back with White Chalice after some time... probably.
-KA won't force you to gas colonies, go on bombing runs against White Chalice and other such outright villainy, but this might still be considered an act of treason by other characters ICly. That being said please remember to keep the IC drama in-character only.
-Running missions for your canon will be really hard if your character goes off to join KA. Not impossible, but don't expect for many opportunities for missions.
-I don't have to point this out, but communicating and building CR with other player characters will be made much, much harder. You might however have some chances to talk to KA NPCs.
