Walking My Own Path

In the wake of the various revelations on the Chalice, Professor Himesaki travels to the ship in order to try to mend some long-burned bridges.  But with her arrival, a dark individual takes the opportunity to strike to avenge his fallen master.

Mission: "The Hands of Gucun" debrief

Took almost a week to get up because haha I suck dicks.  ANYWAYS!

The mission The Hands of Gucun was completed successfully, though Devon was never actually in any danger.

Important Notes:
- Devon Kwan's safely been recovered from the Gucun rebels.  As mentioned previously, she was never in any serious danger since she was able to Shift whenever she needed to, though by playing along with the rebels we managed to learn some important information.
- On that related issue, Wang Ding Bang, a politician in opposition to the ruling party, was revealed to be connected to the rebels.  In the wake of this revelation, Wang has fled Gucun with his followers, taking what military hardware he could at the time.
- Apparently, someone in the Federation had supplied Gucun's previous rulers with a mobile suit using a fake solar furnace.  Presumably Alejandro, who we've since killed.
- Devon and Cheng have returned to the Chalice, along with their children and a retinue of loyalist Gucun soldiers, so we can track down Wang Ding Bang and bring him to justice.

Damages:
- Any damage the various mechs suffered has since been repaired, though regrettably half of the Giantkiller Elemental team was killed by self-destructing Combat Frames.  Clan Wolf will remember them however they do that sort of thing.
