MISSION "DESCENT" Debrief

The mission DESCENT was largely successful.

Important Notes:
-The Grungust Type-3 has been heavily damaged and will not be available for the foreseeable future.
-Gundam Ragnarok's shield was cut in half, though the cut was clean enough that it will be repaired.
-The Rushbird and Imber survived their reentry, but both need repairs. The Rushbird way more so than Imber.
-The Handyman lost most of it's armor. But it's internal workings are just fine, so it will be repaired whenever Orlando gets the materials to re armor it and it cans till run in the meantime anyway.
-King Gainer was heavily damaged and will need an overhaul.
-The White Chalice was heavily damaged in the attack. It will remain on Tatsumiya Island for the next few weeks getting repairs.

Why Must We Fight Here and Now?

As the White Chalice volunteers struggle on to see the L Plan through to completion, a lone figure makes himself known, posing an ultimatum to one of the pilots.  However, his arrival heralds the largest Festum attack on the L-Boat yet, the kind only a miracle could hope to stop.

Canon: Super Robot Wars L, Fafner in the Azure: Right of Left
Characters: Ichitaka Nagumo, Yuunagi Graife, any four pilots
Type: Unplanned, but Festum attacks have by then regularly happening
Setting: The L-Boat
Schedule: This mission will take place between Thursday, September 16th and Wednesday, September 22nd.  If you wish to participate, please post below with your activity

NOTE: This mission is on the Route B side of the split.  Only characters who went on the L-Boat are applicable for this mission.

NOTE THE SECOND: Although this is the first mission the players have on the L-Boat route, it should be assumed by the players that the island is regularly getting attacked by groups of Festum over the course of the week leading up to the mission, as well as afterwards.

My name is Sir Jeremiah Gottwald, acting Viceroy of the Holy Britannian Empire's Eleventh Administrative Area. Five days ago, I sent an offer of employment to your captain; since my satellite observers tell me you were able to make landfall at least near Area 11, I'll reiterate that offer for all of you now.

Six days ago, if you were unable to get the news in space, His Imperial Highness Clovis la Britannia, third Prince of the Britannian Imperial Family and Viceroy of Area 11 was assassinated by a terrorist claiming the name "Zero". I would like to invite any of your combatants who wish it to Area 11 to aid our search for this foul assassin, especially the loyal subjects of Britannia among your ranks. I am aware that the 501st Airborne is not within my chain of command, so even to them this is solely a request.

I am also told you had some difficulty during re-entry; that is to be expected. If nothing else, should you accept this warrant, you will be provided with repairs, supplies, and perhaps a bit of relaxation in the Tokyo Settlement. Your captain may feel free to contact us with whom we should be expecting.

Gee, he's nicer than I heard. Especially since there are so many Japanese and Fusoans aboard...

Anyway, we're not going to be able to move the Chalice for a while without some repairs here on Tatsumiya Island. Can maybe six or twelve people who aren't helping out with the L-Plan head to the main part of Ja...er...Area 11? But physically it's the Japanese Archipelago...I guess Area 11 is just the part with the Britannian Sakuradite mines...um, the point is, we could really use some money for repairs, and fighting terrorism is good, right?
