[At some time or another, you might have ended up getting called into a briefing room by Ayame. Why you? Well, The Hat got some use once more... unless your name is Samus, at which point you were called because this is sorta dealing with your forte.]

We're making a detour. The Karaba cell in Southeast Asia can wait a few more days for getting their supplies. We have bigger concerns right now.

I'm sure many of you remember the Metroids at 30 Bunch. Well it seems that some of them have made it planetside.

[She presses a switch and a projector comes to life, displaying the image of a map on the wall. A large mining town is located on the northern part of it, complete with a red circle surrounding it.]

Long range sensors are picking up a tremendous amount of radiation matching up with the mutated Metroids we fought before; a kind unlike anything else we've seen anywhere else. And if that wasn't reason enough...

[Another button press.]

We picked up a distress signal a short while ago. It's confirmed what Dan, Maxene, and I already fear. I'll keep this short.

[As she was speaking, a static-laden audio track began to play. Very quickly though, other sounds begin to be heard; gunshots, screams, cries that anyone at 30 Bunch would identify with those of the Metroids. Ayame lets it continue for a few more minutes before turning the audio track off, it's purpose fulfilled.]

This is a danger can't go ignored. We'll be there in a few days, so I suggest everyone here gets prepped. Everyone who wasn't at 30 Bunch, I suggest you get a crash course about these things from those that were.

Primer Suspects

Discovering that the Metroids have made it to the Earth's surface, the White Chalice makes a hasty detour to a mining town to exterminate the threat before it spreads any more.
