A distress transmission was cut off before we could get the whole message, a powerful signal interfereing with even the Chalice's internal communications! And so long as this jamming remains we'll never know how is friend or foe when we investigate

Canon: Ace Combat 4, Armored Core 4
Characters: Mobius 1, Joshua O'Brien, any 5 additional pilots. Flight or sea faring recommended
Type: Kinda saw it coming/Spontaneous
Setting: Western shores of Siberia (semantics, it's seaside. Land and ocean)
