New canon lockout
As the White Chalice fleet returns to Earth, Super Robot Wars Unlimited Generation Alpha's year one story is steadily moving towards its final stretch. To minimize the delays that might keep us from resolving the Adventus plot on-schedule, we, the mods, have decided to impose a temporary canon lockout.
The intent of this is to help encourage people to app into pre-existing canons rather than app a character from a new canon, and until the Adventus plot is resolved in a few months we will not be accepting new canons into the game with the exception of if at least four players submit applications in unison. This lockout doesn't apply to applications that we haven't gotten around to approving yet, or characters and canons awaiting their introduction.
The Adventus plotline is intended to be wrapped up around the one year anniversary of the role-play. Afterwards, the lockout will be lifted.
In short:
Who this effects
* People intending to introduce a new canon with a small (1-3) player cast into the game
Who this doesn't effect
* People who have already submitted an app for a new canon with a small (1-3) player cast into the game, regardless of whether or not the app has been approved yet
* People who have already submitted an app for a new canon with a small (1-3) player cast into the game and have been approved, but have not yet been introduced.
* People intending to submit an app for a canon that is currently under way or was dropped previously.
* People intending to introduce a new canon with at least four players into the game. It is encouraged that the apps are submitted in quick succession.
* People intending to introduce a new canon but not have any missions for it; i.e. a "filler" canon.
* People intending to introduce a new canon but are willing to wait until the Adventus plot is over for their canon to have events.

Because I didn't know when the lockout would take place specifically (only that it would be 'soon', and that there would be a post for it), I have an app that is pretty much complete - done in between all the stuff I had to do these past few weeks - and is, literally, one step away from being submitted, save maybe a few more comments in testrun. Plus, I have a confirmed castmate who was looking forward to it, and in the middle of finishing their own app (short of a testrun I believe).
I don't think I'll have it in me to wait 5-6 months (UGA started in July or August IIRC, so that's just less than half a year away), since there will likely be a very different situation in the RP by then, which means I'll have to rewrite all the missions. So if there's any reasonable way to resolve this, please let me know.
In the meantime, I'll be discussing this with the castmate I've mentioned.

Also, I really doubt Adventus will end in 5-6 months. 2-3 is more likely.
