[What's this, another message being sent to the Chalice? But the figure being shown in it is just someone in a rather feminine suit of armor, it's that woman from the fight in the desert!]
Chalice, this has been something I've been putting off for far too long. When last we battled things were left unresolved due to the Federation and it's a blight on my history to leave a battle without settling things decisively. I wish to amend that finally, and also settle things between us in one final battle. I am tired of this feud, and in the event we win, I want the Chalice to cease activities against us.
And in return, if you win...
[And at that the figure holds up a hand, revealing that it is holding a fist-sized Sophium Crystal; pure and without flaw.]
This crystal is our most precious belonging, capable of controlling Shifting Entities. Without it, we would be nothing...
... And if you win, I give you my word it shall be yours.
To ensure no forces intervene with this battle, my followers and I have staked out a ruined city in Japan; the coordinates will be forwarded to you There you'll find us, and we shall have our battle.

In a surprising and all-too-rare moment, the White Chalice receives another formal challenge; this time from the Thoughts of Ascension. With a prize too invaluable to pass up, the battle lines are drawn once more... all while other forces lay in wait to strike.
