Tomorrow's mission The Road to Corinth will still be happening at 7pm (central, as per the norm) tonight.
Our Einherjar is as follows:
Kensuke Aida (in his stupid plug suit)
Flynn McAllistair/Scott Truman (in their spandex suits)
Gentaro Kisaragi (in his uchyuu kitaaaaa suit)
Miki Hoshii
Michael Wilson
Alessandra Langelier
Moral Support/Technical Advisor lady
Misato Katsuragi
There's still two slots open for the mission. Git to the sign ups!
Kensuke and the assorted Eva crew and operatives have been prepping Unit 04 for the volcanic drop. As it stands, Unit 04 looks like it's been re-designed by Capsule Corp., and Kensuke's plug suit makes him look like he's been the terrible victim of blueberry gum (or the flavor equivalent that would make him silver).
Poor Kensuke has had to miss out on Corinth, but it's for a good cause. If this operation is successful, there could be the first capture of an unhatched Eva larva. And the better you can study your enemy, etc, etc... The Type D armor and Kensuke's ridiculous appearance are all precautionary measures. It might be hot down there, but more importantly, it's the pressure. And magma, by obvious standards, is more dangers than water, but the act of pressure upon the Eva will be about the same.
Fast forward to the operation itself. Which is actually more like 50-70 miles away from Corinth, as Zappa's sense of scale is stupid. While technically, all the op needs is the complex winch system, the crew, and the Eva; the rest of you are there for safety's sake. In the event the Angel goes apeshit, or, worse, something comes along to completely interrupt and ruin the operation, you're there to get to the fight while the Eva is indisposed.
See you in the mission!
